COLLECTIVE
The BLIS Collective is a membership-serving organization oriented toward today's most transformative social movements and the organizers, artists, and cultural stewards that exist within and around them.
The goal of our work in building this Collective is to enhance what scholars call “frame alignment,” and what we call narrative alignment, which is when individual frames become linked in congruency and complementariness. Through a process that we call “narrative braiding,” we will enhance narrative alignment across the Collective.
We are actively recruiting founding collective members who will benefit from:
Member-only cross-movement organizing workshops: Collective members will have the opportunity to participate in closed-door facilitated workshops to strengthen solidarity and narrative alignment across actors in different social movements.
Narrative Infrastructure Support: Collective members will have access to tailored BLIS support in storytelling, campaign, and narrative strategy development.
Visibility and Amplification: Collective members will have increased visibility of their work across the Collective.
Access to research and pooled funds: Collective members will have access to unpublished research and funds to collaborate across the collective.
